■アレンジ内容(解説：梅田詠侍)

誰もが耳にしたことのある名曲中の名曲。合唱曲として有名ですが、あの昭和を代表する大スター「坂本九」の楽曲だというのはあまり知られていないかもしれません。
坂本九さんが亡くなった日にNHKにて収録されたこの曲は、奥さんに向けて歌ったとても暖かく愛のこもった歌詞が特徴的ですよね。私が思うに彼の歌う曲には色があって、例えば「上を向いて歩こう」は赤やピンク系の暖色、「見上げてごらん夜の星を」はタイトル通り夜空の暗い青がイメージできますよね。
私の中でこの心の瞳のイメージは『青色』です。心温まる歌詞ですが寒色の青からにじみ出る優しさや、切なさ、また彼が最後に歌った曲であるという事実がそう印象づけている気がします。
今回のアレンジは合唱で歌われる形を取り入れつつ、原曲のビート感を取り入れてあります。バラードだからといってメロディのリズムをなんとなくでこなさず、フレーズの中でしっかりとテンポにはめてあげることでより美しい演奏になるでしょう。

■Arrangement Details(explanation：Eiji Umeda)

This is one of the most famous songs that everyone has heard. It is famous as a chorus song, but it may not be well known that it was written by Kyu Sakamoto, one of the greatest stars of the Showa period.

The song was recorded on NHK on the day of his death, and is characterized by the very warm and loving lyrics he sang to his wife. In my opinion, there are colors in the songs he sings, for example, “Ue wo muite arukou(SUKIYAKI)” has warm red and pinkish colors, and “Miagete goran yoru no hoshi wo” can be imagined as the dark blue of the night sky, as the title suggests.
In my mind, the image of this song is “blue. The lyrics are heartwarming, but the tenderness and sadness oozing from the cold blue color, and the fact that it was the last song he sang, give me the impression that this is his last song.This arrangement incorporates the form in which the song is sung by the chorus, but also incorporates the beat of the original song.
The performance will be more beautiful if the rhythm of the melody is not just a ballad, but is firmly set to the tempo within the phrases.
