"Mozart’s Famous Piece That Everyone’s Heard At Least Once" Set in the 18th century when the Turkish style was in vogue, this piece was reportedly composed after being exposed to the music of the Ottoman Empire’s military bands. It offers a glimpse of the exoticism Europeans associated with the Orient at the time.
■Arrangement Details(explanation:Yuki Okuno)
"Mozart’s Famous 'Turkish March,' Arranged for Saxophone Quartet" While this piece is widely known as a piano sonata, I’ve arranged it for saxophone quartet. In addition to the original flow, I’ve incorporated new sections, such as a ballad that highlights rich harmonies and some unique saxophone techniques like slap-tonguing. If you can clearly distinguish the different characters of each section, it will bring out a striking contrast and add great dynamics to the performance.
