"Enjoy the Ensemble by Following the Melody's Structure" There’s a lot of enjoyment to be found in creating a well-balanced ensemble by following how the melody is structured across parts. From section C onward, the soprano saxophone doesn’t have marked articulations, so feel free to experiment with options like double-tonguing and other patterns. In section F, the soprano saxophone takes the melody, but if you switch to the alto saxophone and play in the altissimo register, it creates a real highlight moment. It’s challenging, but I encourage you to give it a try!
