「ハニーフラッシュ！」の掛け声でも有名なこの楽曲は、1973年から放送されたテレビアニメ『キューティーハニー』のオープニング主題歌です。「この頃はやりの女の子」と歌えばメロディーが続いて浮かぶのではないでしょうか。
この楽曲は非常にインパクトのある強烈な主題歌で、少女アニメの枠を越えて日本アニメ市場最も有名な主題歌のひとつとなっています。『キューティーハニー』を見たことがない層にも幅広く知られていますよね。
