この曲は、最近youtubeでも人気の「冬の女王」こと広瀬香美の７枚目シングル曲として1995年に発表されました。同年に公開されたウィンタースポーツをする若者たちの友情と恋愛を描いた青春映画「ゲレンデが溶けるほど恋したい」の主題歌やスキー用品販売メーカー「アルペン」のCMソングにもなりました。最近は若者を中心に９０年代ソングが再燃しており、そのブームにのってサックスアンサンブルにしてみました！「懐かしい」「エモい」…今もなお世代を超えて愛される名曲をお楽しみください！

■アレンジ内容(解説：奥野祐樹)

バリトンサックスが刻むベースのリズムと、上の3本のかみ合わせが意外と難しいですが、バシッと決まるとめちゃくちゃ気持ち良いです。特にAメロの直前に要注意ポイントがあります。他の曲に比べると結構複雑めなアレンジをしているつもりなので、4人でよく合わせて演奏してもらえると嬉しいですね。サビの前に全員ブレイクになる部分が、個人的にかなり好きです。この曲はとにかく全体的にエモくて熱いです。

Released in 1995, this song is by none other than Kōmi Hirose, often referred to as the “Queen of Winter” and recently enjoying renewed popularity on YouTube. It served as the theme song for the youth film I Want to Fall in Love So Much the Snow Melts, which portrays friendship and romance among young winter sports enthusiasts. It was also featured in a commercial for the ski equipment brand Alpen.
With '90s songs trending again among younger generations, we’ve arranged this hit for saxophone ensemble. Relive the nostalgia and feel the “emo” vibes as you enjoy this timeless classic, loved across generations!

"The Baritone Sax Lays Down the Groove!"
The bass rhythm carried by the baritone sax and the interplay with the upper three parts can be surprisingly tricky, but when it all clicks, it feels incredibly satisfying. Watch out for the critical moment just before the A melody—it’s a key point! Compared to other pieces, this arrangement is intentionally more complex, so I’d love for the quartet to really lock in and play in sync. Personally, I’m a big fan of the full break just before the chorus. Overall, this song is packed with emotion and energy!
