MISIAの7作目となる楽曲の『Everything』。松嶋菜々子主演のラヴコメディ『やまとなでしこ』の主題歌としても有名ですよね。この楽曲の聞きどころは、シックかつゴージャスなサウンドとMISIAの抜群の歌唱力にあります。この二つの相乗効果は、実に心が晴れやかになる程です。Everythigの歌詞もまた複雑で、聴く人によって幸せなのか悲しみに浸っているのか...その解釈も変わってきます。
4本のサックスで織りなすラヴバラードを、それぞれの解釈でお楽しみください！

■アレンジ内容(解説：奥野祐樹)

オリジナルのハーモニーをサックス4本で再現したアレンジになっています。上の三本はかなり高い音域でのハーモニーが続きますが、決して怯えず鳴らし切ったところで演奏していただきたく思います、そのために各パート高音のピッチはよく注意しましょう。
編曲者としては60小節目~61小節目のアルト、バリトンの動きが熱いので気に入っています。

"MISIA's Seventh Hit Song, 'Everything''
Widely known as the theme song for the romantic comedy "Yamato Nadeshiko" starring Nanako Matsushima, MISIA’s Everything is an unforgettable track. The song’s charm lies in its chic yet luxurious sound paired with MISIA’s extraordinary vocal prowess. Together, they create a synergy that lifts the listener’s spirit. The lyrics of Everything are complex, leaving room for interpretation—depending on the listener, it may evoke feelings of happiness or sadness.
Enjoy this beautiful love ballad as it’s woven together by four saxophones, each bringing its own unique interpretation to the piece!

■Arrangement Details(explanation：Yuki Okuno)

This arrangement reproduces the harmony of the original with four saxophones. The upper three saxophones play in a very high register, but don’t be intimidated—embrace the full range of the harmony.
As the arranger, I’m particularly fond of the alto and baritone movements in bars 60–61 because they’re truly exciting.
